We have had a fantastic start to our second half-term in Year 6. An enjoyable yet restful break has meant that all the children (and myself) have come back brimming with enthusiasm and resilience.
This half-term we are exploring our philosophical question - What makes us who we are? - from a scientific perspective, considering how evolution has impacted us and the environment that we live in. This cohesively links to our latest class text called Moth; a story highlighting the need to change in order to survive. As we started to delve into the text, the children demonstrated their understanding of the text by drawing 'story mountains' on our classroom tables.
