Year 3 News

What a busy end to the Spring term we are having in Year 3! The children are working so hard and are really starting to see their learning come together. They should be very proud at how they have adapted to the rigour and demands of KS2, demonstrating themselves to be more independent learners. We are on track to enjoy a very successful summer term and hopefully some sunshine!

We all throughly enjoyed dressing up for world book day which reflected the childrens' growing passion and love of books, which is a delight to see. The children are working hard on their individual word counts having set themselves a target to reach before the Easter holidays.  Keep up the good work and keep reading!

Our trip to Leicester Botanical Gardens was a big success with the children getting to explore a wide range of plant life, immersing themselves in how plants need varied conditions to thrive. As always, the children represented Barnack School excellently and had a really enjoyable trip!

Finally, a polite reminder to parents, P.E is on a Wednesday and a Thursday and the children must have their full PE kits in school on these days.

Many Thanks

Mrs McLay
