What a busy yet amazing past few weeks we have had in Year 2, the children have really impressed me with their resilience and perseverance when covering some tricky new learning! In our writing, we have been continuing to produce paragraphs about the UK which we will be compiling together next week to create our Non-Chronological report.
This included learning about different conjunctions and introducing new punctuation. In our Maths, we have just started addition, focusing on making 10 first using our number bonds. In the wider curriculum, the children have immersed themselves into the UK, we have explored the human and physical features as well as famous landmarks. The children have particularly loved creating music on the Chromebooks and playing around with the pitch and exploring different life cycles in Science. Super Job Year 2!
