Year 2 have loved their first couple of weeks back this term, they have especially loved their English learning. We have focused the previous terms learning on the Rain forest and Deforestation and used the book 'Tim Tom' to create fantastic creative writing. In addition, we have began our learning on Mount Everest and survival, what an amazing topic this has been so far!
The children are so knowledgeable and have given me many facts about the mountain, they've also been so keen to learn more about the courageous climbers and the overall habitat. In our Science learning, we have began to look at germination and look forward to seeing how our plants will grow over the next few weeks.
