Year 2 have loved the start of their learning this term, we have began to learn about the Great fire of London and their knowledge and understanding so far has amazed me!
They have used this enthusiasm about the topic to help support their English learning which has been based around the book 'Vlad and the Great Fire of London', the children have used this book, their understanding of the event and their writing features to produce an amazing character and setting description. During our Maths, we have recapped money, looking at making a value using different coins, addition and subtraction using money and comparing different values.
