We have been very lucky in Reception to have recently been on a trip to Dobbies Garden Centre and had Mrs Jackson and Ms Quinn visit Reception to talk about their jobs as gardeners.
Over the last few weeks our key text has been "Errols Garden" we have been learning about plants and how to help them grow, we have planted our own runner beans and sunflowers in class and discussed the jobs a Gardner may do.
Before our visitors arrived, Reception came up with many questions! We enjoyed quizzing our visitors, looking at some of the tools they brought in and looking at some plants that they have gifted us. We are excited to see how they grow in the coming weeks ahead.
