Year 5 have had an amazing morning learning about the importance of maintaining our Mental health and Well being.
As a class we have matched images to an emotion and created awesome emotion collages and the scale of each emotions using synonyms.
We also engaged in lots of discussions about what makes us feel certain emotions and how we respond emotionally to different situations. We went on to discuss how we can manage our emotions in times of stress.
We challenged ourselves to empathise with characters to guess how they might feel and respond to emotional scenarios.
We finished the session by learning how we can regulate emotions and share our feelings in a positive way.
One child described the experience as “The best day ever.”
