Year 2 have had an amazing start to the spring term, they have immersed themselves in their learning about the rainforest.
The children have loved exploring the different animals and plants found there as well as the different habitats for animals around the world. In our writing, we have started to read the Great Kapok tree, the children have been so engaged in reading this and the different animals reasons as to why the trees should not be cut down, we have started to plan a persuasive letter to stop deforestation.
It’s lovely to see the children so engaged and passionate about a topic!
