Strive

This term our Strive focus has been encouraging the children to think about their qualities!

We have explored the skills they have and new ones that they would like to learn; even discussing the potential adversities we may face when learning a new skill. We then moved onto looking at the skills and qualities required to be an effective team player- we have finished this learning by implementing this in team games! The children really enjoyed finding their team mates with the same colour dot on their head- this encouraged good listening and communication. I was very impressed- well done Year 1!
