Not your typical morning in Year 6! Over recent weeks, we have been learning about the circulatory system and the function of our heart. This morning, we had the opportunity to get 'hands on'. Using a sheep heart, we were able see, feel and discuss the key components of a heart. The children were given the option to hold and investigate the heart themselves - their curiosity and courage really enhanced the lesson.
