Sacrewell Day 2

We started day two bright and early, with many of the children up at the break of dawn. Still in our comfies we headed for a delicious breakfast.

After filling their bellies, the children started a carrousel of activities: digging a mud bath for pigs; chopping and constructing vegetable kebabs for goats before feeding them and using power tools to construct apparatus for sheep and goats. This took us to lunchtime, which involved yummy stonebaked pizzas.

After lunch all of the children got to experience a tractor and trailer ride around the site as well as a pollination trail. This evening, we headed for a luscious barbecued meal before toasting marshmallows around the fire to create s’mores. The children had the whole of the Playbarn to themselves as a treat from the Sacrewell staff as a thank you for their behaviour.

Before bed the children enjoyed a little disco with music, glow sticks and snacks. Another fab day in the sun with a great group of children.
