Last week we were learning about lent. We started the week by talking about Shrove Tuesday and enjoying some yummy pancakes.
Then on Ash Wednesday we visited Barnack Church, we had a tour of the church and Reverent Gary also told us the story behind Lent. The children thought of different things people may give up for the 40 days.
Reception have been working really hard on their writing over the last couple of weeks, since we returned to school. We have started writing some fantastic creative pieces and it has been a joy to see the children take such pride in their work.
