The children were fantastic on our trip last week to Ferry Meadows. They were able to use their knowledge and understanding of direction and movement to use a variety of different maps.
They loved their last activity which was orienteering, they used maps to find key points around Ferry Meadows that had clues. They used these clues to spell out a hidden message. We have finished out terms learning by writing a recount of a School trip, as well as writing instructions on den building. Survival has definitely been a topic they have enjoyed across the whole curriculum.
