On Tuesday 27th June went made our way to Orton Park Cricket Club in Peterborough to take part in a mixed cricket tournament. There were a lot of Peterborough schools taking part such as West Town, Dogsthorpe, Eye, Winyates, St Johns, Beeches Primary, Oakdale, Kings, Abbotsmede and St Augustines.
We won our group matches vs West Town and Dogsthorpe Primary School which got us a place in the semi final against Orton St Johns. After our game vs Orton St Johns we made the final vs The Beeches. It was a very close but tough game.
Our children showed great perseverance skills when batting and fielding. Unfortunately The Beeches beat us in the final but despite the result, we kept our heads high! It was a fun and competitive day. Well Done Barnack.
