The children in EYFS and Year 1 had a fantastic morning in Forest Schools with Mrs Muirhead. They were set the task of making rain-proof shelters.
Mrs Muirhead provided limited amounts of tarpaulin, string and bamboo canes to get them started and then they had to forage and search for other sticks to complete their shelters.
They worked in mixed teams and the results were amazing! The shelters were tested with the children inside; water was sprinkled and tipped over the shelters and no-one got wet! Well done everyone!
