Reception have had a fantastic start to their first year in school and have quickly become familiar with the new routines. It has been so lovely to see so many new friendships forming. We have had some wonderful and creative 'All about me Trees' from the summer homework project and the children have loved talking about their families within our Families and belonging theme, as well as role playing their families in our home corner. Reception class represented the school fantastically, when walking to the church for their Welcome Service and have enjoyed learning the Harvest Samba song, ready for the Harvest Festival.
