Egyptian Fun!

Year 4 have had a fun filled couple of weeks continuing our learning on Ancient Egypt.

We have learnt about the mummification process and carried this out with tomatoes to see how the salt could preserve 'the body'. We also made pyramids and filled them with our special items that we would want to take into the afterlife with us. In forest school, we have been learning how to hammer nails to attach pieces of wood together and a group of children made a large frame by practising this skill. We have been busy this week filming our class assembly on the value of the term 'forgiveness' which will be uploaded next week. I am really proud of Year 4 during their assessment week -they have shown fantastic hard work and resilience! This has paid off and they have made amazing progress.
