On Tuesday 16th May we went to The Peterborough Rugby Club to take part in a Year 5 and 6 NFL Flag Tournament.
Children showed amazing NFL knowledge and showed great collaboration skills when playing against different teams from around the Peterborough area including St Johns, Newark Hill, Abbotsmede, Winyates and others. Unfortunately we lost in the semi-final but despite the result we kept our heads high! Well done Barnack.
On Wednesday 17th May we went to Northstowe Secondary College with some of our Year 5 and 6 children to take part in a County Netball Competition.
We showed amazing determination skills and out of 20 schools taking part, we placed 5th. Well done Barnack!
On Monday 22nd May we travelled to Nene Park Academy to take part in a Year 2/3 Tag Rugby Tournament.
Our children showed amazing perseverance skills and a great knowledge of Tag Rugby!
On Tuesday 23rd May we went to the Weston Homes Stadium to take part in the Peterborough Finals Tournament.
Our Year 5s and 6s girls showed amazing collaboration when playing different teams including Thorpe, Eye, and John Clare. Unfortunately we didn't get out of the group stage but despite this, we kept our heads high. Well done Barnack!
On Wednesday 24th May we went to The City of Peterborough Rugby Club to take part in a Year 4 Hockey Tournament.
Our children played against different schools such as Hampton H, Winyates, Orton Wistow, West Town, Thomas More, Eye and St Johns. We won every single match and scored 24 goals with only conceding 3 throughout the whole tournament! Our children received some medals and bought back the trophy! Well done.
