We have had a fantastic few weeks in year 1.
Last Tuesday, our lovely parents came in to have a look through books and I was so proud of how well behaved and polite each and every child was during this time.
We have been very busy looking at place value in maths, the children have persevered through challenges and really got stuck in. In English, we have continued to look at letter writing.
It has been really lovely to see the children think about who helps them in their community and to read the lovely letters they would like to send to them. In history, we have continued to discuss Edith Cavel and what kind of impact she made on her community.
As we are nearing the end of term, it has been really lovely to reflect on how far we have come in year 1.
The children should be very proud of themselves.
